What does a Hair Dryer Diffuser do?
It’s no secret that the girl with the curly hair gets all the attention when she walks into a room. While everyone loves the curls, embracing your own curls can sometimes be challenging. Curly hair can be unpredictable, especially after a wash and at times, your hair can be unruly, dry, and frizzy.

Diffusers are round plastic attachments that snap or clip onto the nozzle of your hairdryer, much like you existing concentrators nozzles.
Using a diffuser, will see the best results if you have naturally wavy or curly hair. However, you can still achieve a voluminous, wavy look if you have straight or flat hair. So, there is something in it for everyone.
Diffusers are attached to the end of hair dryers to protect hair from direct heat, so you will be less likely to damage it.
A diffuser can beat the Frizz, no ways…. really??
Traditional nozzles tend to blow curls out of shape, causing them to frizz, where as a diffuser can help define curly hair whilst keeping it frizz-free. This nifty attachment diffuses warm air around each section of hair. It also stops you from pulling hair straight or making it frizzy as you blow dry it.
A diffuser works by spreading the airstream over a wider area in a controlled way
Hair dryer diffuser tips
Diffusers must be used with a low heat and low speed setting. Otherwise, hair can become tangled quite easily. Although the hair drying process is slower, this is one of the best ways to prevent frizzy hair.
Make sure to use lightweight product beforehand for added definition. Applying a product beforehand can define your curl or wave even more.
How to use a hair dryer diffuser
To start, tilt your head to the side. Place a section of hair onto the diffuser and press it up against your scalp (close to the hair roots) as you blow dry. Hold it there until your roots are dry.
Use circular motions as you dry the hair near your scalp. Use the diffuser's prongs to gently massage your hair, promoting volume as well as natural waves and curls.
Continue massaging your hair with the diffuser, using a circular motion, until your hair is dry down to the tips.
Use the diffuser to gently push up on your curls as you work your way down. This helps retain your hair's natural shape and give your hair bounce.
